The twins are home!!!

We were able to bring them home this last weekend! It was hard not having them home for Christmas but at least we got them home soon after. Warner came home last Saturday and Hannah on Sunday. We are so happy to finally have them home. They are so fun and so adorable. Grant and I are so excited!

Sweet Warner at the wellness center this morning. The nurse told us it was good to let them have some tummy time each day so she laid him on his stomach. He just laid there looking at me and Grant. I had to take a picture. They have the cutest little bodies.

Cute Hannah at the wellness center. She cracks me up. She is so tiny and dainty.

32 Weeks Pregnant!

So here is a picture of me pregnant at 32 weeks. People have been yelling at me for not posting a prego picture so here you go. I had an ultrasound yesterday and they said that the babies are both measuring over 4 pounds, so they are both ahead of schedule! The boy is still bigger than the girl. The doctor says that so far everything looks great.

CAFE RIO!!!!!

Anyone who knows me knows how much food excites me. Well I just saw the best thing ever! Near my work they are opening, are you ready.... a CAFE RIO!!!!! I use to go there while I was a student living in Utah all the time. For those of you who have never heard of it it is heaven, they have really good Mexican food. It will be the first one in California, I feel so lucky. I will be eating there for lunch all the time :). The thing that stinks is that I will be on maternity leave by the time it opens. I hope they open one in Corona eventually. Oh well the drive will be worth it, even with twins and all. And hey at least I will have something to look forward to when I return to work now. I can't wait!!!

The Joys of Pregnancy

Okay so my back has been REALLY bad for the last couple months on just my right side, and just keeps getting worse and seems to be spreading. So I finally went to the chiropractor yesterday and got a little surprise. He told me that I have a rib that is out of place haha. I sometimes have a sharp pain in my top rib in the front and figured it was just my stomach growing and putting pressure on it, well it turns out that is only some of the reason. My growing stomach is pushing on my right rib that is out of place and with all of the pressure of my growing babies on it is not getting a chance to heal. Not good. I am really scared for when I get really big, crossing the fingers that the chirpopractor can help. Anyways I recently started feeling the rib pop in and out of place in the mornings just like it sometimes use to before I got pregnant. I think I injured it in dance. It never really bothered me though until I got pregnant. The chriropractor said pregnancy brings out our weaknesses, for instance my rib that is out of place :). Anyways so the back and the rib thing are all connected. This week it started hurting pretty much on my entire right side. I really hope he can get rid of this pain before I get much bigger. He is a really good chiropractor and sounds like he will be able to help. I am unfortuantely still in pain after my visit yesterday but some places do not hurt as much so we will see. He has really neat techniques that he uses. No cracking and all of that which I like! Oh well we will see what happens.

Missouri Vacation!

So the week before last Grant and I took a trip to Missouri to visit my sister's family and his brother Brendon and his wife. How perfect is that that they are both there. Of course it is not ideal, I wish they both lived closer. We had a blast....the day before we left we rented a boat and here are some pictures....
Ahhhh...he is so cute! Grant wants to get a boat desperately. He is always looking on craigslist and finding great deals hoping I will give in. As fun as it sounds to have a boat, I always have to remind him that we are expecting twins and need at save all the money we can :). Like we will have time to use the boat when the twins come anyway. Am I right?
Sophie had a hard time at first getting on the boat. Me dropping her into the water before Katherine was ready to catch her did not make her any happier. I felt so bad...she went all the way under. Yet she still let me hold her most of the time on the boat afterwards. It was really fun!
Franny is way too cute and so pretty! She says the cutest things and is so sweet.
My sister Katherine and her husband Bobby.
My loving husband trying to drown me :)
Sophie having fun driving the boat. I love her cute little face!
Here is Grant showing off his back flips. Katherine got an even better picture. Well that is our boat trip, more pictures of Missouri to come.....

The Beach!

So it is Labor Day morning and I am going to catch up on some blogging finally. The last couple weeks we have not had internet and then we went on vacation so that is my excuse...as far as the last month before that I have no excuse.

So I will start with a beach trip we had back in July with Grant's family. Heidi's family was here which means so were her two cute kids Jackson and Daphne!!!

Grant surfing! I was proud of myself for catching these pictures.
How cute is Jackson? He has the cutest personality and the cutest little face!
Haha...like how I waited to take a picture of us until I had a sweatshirt on :)
They are sooo cute!

We Are Having Twins!!!!!

Yes it is true....Grant and I went to find out the sex of our baby yesterday and to our surprise TWINS, a boy AND a girl!!! Grant and I both got what we wanted, Grant his boy and me a girl:) It was for sure the biggest shock of my life.

So we go in and I'm laying there and the ultra sound specialist looks at me as soon as she starts the ultra sound and says, thinking I already knew..."So you're having twins." I look up at her and say...."Is that a Joke?" She then says with a big smile, " No I have twins, I wouldn't joke about something like that." Then I start laughing uncontrolably waiting for her to say just kidding but she kept saying it. She thought it was hilarious that we didn't know. I am 18 weeks along and had no idea! She was really darling and made it really fun. So then I look over at Grant and Grant is laughing just like me. We couldn't believe it. The lady had to ask me to stop laughing so she could finish the ultra sound...haha. It wasn't easy. So of course we are so excited but scared at the same time. I'm sure it will all work out.

I will post pictures of the babies once I figure out how to scan them and all of that. They are so cute! The boy was laying on his stomach and the girl was on her back. The boy was kicking the girl in the head. Grant said look he's already beating up his little sister. So exciting!!!!

My Trip to Missouri!

So my sister and her husband Bobby went on a cruise with some friends..... so I got to go up to Missouri to watch my cute nieces! I LOVE my nieces so I was so excited. We had sooo much fun and I hope I get cute girls just like them. It was so hard for me to leave. They were so adorable and so much fun to be with. My sister told me that I would either leave being excited to have kids or the exact opposite depending on how they behaved haha, well I left wanting kids even more than before and I thought that was impossible.

Happy Birthday Dad!!!

It is my dad's birthday today! My dad has always been there for me. Here are a couple things that come to mind. When I was gone at college, living in Utah, he would always call and make sure everything was going well. I remember driving home from Utah by myself a couple times and having my dad call every hour to see if I was alright. I thought it was really funny. It meant a lot that he cared so much. I also remember waiting to find out if I got into University of Utah and their ballet program there. My dad couln't wait so he kept calling the chairman of the ballet department to see if I got in. Finally she had answer for him. After he got the answer that I was accepted, him and my mom picked up some balloons, took me out of school and took me to my favorite restaurant for lunch. I remember my mom laughing at him while we were at lunch telling me how he had kept calling the poor chairman. I had no idea.

He is so caring and so supportive. I am so grateful for him and for all he does for our family. He is such a good example to me and I feel so blessed to have him as my dad. Happy Birthday Dad!!!! I love you!!

My sister Annie's birthday was on Monday. She turned 16!! Beware Annie, you are my next blog.

Cooper as a Puppy

I can't believe how fast he has grown. Cooper is almost 6 months old now and we couldn't ask for a better dog. I wanted to post these pictures of Cooper since I didn't have a blog when we first got him. He is the neediest dog but I love it. He follows me everywhere and loves to fall asleep on Grant and I all the time, as you can see in some of the pictures. He is the sweetest dog and we love him!
